INTRODUCTION
Mystic Partners, LLC is a consultancy that advises startups and growth-stage companies at the technological heart of the AI & customer experience market. As a former executive of a market-leading institution, the founder, David Sudbey, provides navigational experience to young businesses looking to innovate, disrupt, and grow.
THE PROBLEM
Despite a successful 5-year history of consulting in the AI & customer experience space, Mystic Partners, LLC was devoid of a visual brand and maintained little online presence. Ben was approached to design a logo and visual identity system that rooted itself in the values of the business, increased digital exposure, and improved adaptability & accessibility.

THE APPROACH
VISUALIZING AI EXPERIENCES
PROCESS
Mystic Partners, LLC wanted a visual identity that existed within the generative AI (LLM) technology space, without directly resembling an AI company. Ben's approach involved studying the AI & customer experience industries in order to find distinct visual themes, approaches, and motifs. 
Taking inspiration from UI design wire frames, the AI "magic star" symbol, digital text, and internet search bars, the branding evolved into a simple yet futuristic identity rooted in trust, leadership, knowledge, and technology.

THE BRANDMARK
AI & DIGITAL INTERFACES
The brandmark was designed to represent generative AI technology, user experience, and digital interfaces, particularly those that are query-based (internet searches). The ideation process was highly iterative, yet constrained to simple icongraphic representations of digital text, the "AI star", internet queries, and digital wireframes.
"D" FOR DAVID
Halfway through the design process, the client expressed an affinity for lettermark interpretations of "Mystic Partners" or "David Sudbey". As the sole founder and primary executive of the consultancy, David ultimately chose the mark that lightly represented his first initial, while also retaining the creative tenets of Ben's original brandmark concepts and design-thinking. 
IDEATION & DEVELOPMENT:
ICONOGRAPHY & DESIGN PROCESS:
COLORS
The Mystic Partners, LLC Brand Palette is a blue & gray tonal spectrum inspired by digital technology & UX design. Choosing blue as the primary color helped give the brand a sense of trust and leadership, while the varying tones of gray promoted the company's futuristic mindset.
Because the company is mainly digital, the color palette was limited to digital RGB hextones.
