DESCRIPTION
GIFT is an experimental indie band from NYC, signed with Captured Tracks. In the overcrowded music scene of Brooklyn, NY, it is easy to drown in the noise.
In July of 2022, GIFT approached Ben, searching for design, direction, and social marketing to help them rise above the competition. With the aid of the design studio, Dark Igloo, Ben helped GIFT develop a distinct and artistic content strategy by designing the tools for the band to grow and blossom beyond the confines of New York City.

& COLLECTIVE
CONCEPT & THINKING
The GIFT project is a kaleidoscopic collection of content, built upon music in collective spaces. Ben felt the social marketing strategy should effuse the band's sense of community.
While the marketing is focused to partners and sponsors, the content is often built by local creatives.
As leader for the project, Ben corralled a symphony of content; always instructing and leading design efforts, ensuring continuity, and inspiring engagement.
APPLICATION
+ Designed a robust visual identity that adapted to project, song, and output, while maintaining visual values.
+ Found and identified a wide array of partners to engage, promote and collaborate with.
+ Produced and designed graphic work for every content endeavor, across several mediums.
+ Wrote, directed, and edited the scope of the band's voice, communications, and marketing materials.
